Thina Sizwe (Our Nation) is a short documentary film, which features among others Albie Sachs (former Constitutional Court Justice), Dr Allan Boesak (former UDF patron) and Nomonde Calata (Fort Calata’s widow).
They trace Cradock’s history of leadership and resistance back to James Arthur Calata (Fort’s grandfather and a former ANC secretary-general, 1936 – 1949) and how his example had influenced the Lingelihle township’s successful revolution in the 1980s.
